Outlet Cashier

Job Description Summary- We are seeking an Outlet Cashier to handle all cash transactions accurately and efficiently at our establishment. The Outlet Cashier will be responsible for processing payments, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The position is based at The Cove Rotana. Job Responsibility- • Handle cash transactions with customers using cash registers • Scan goods and collect payments • Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets • Redeem stamps and coupons • Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information • Greet customers when entering or leaving the establishment • Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas • Keep reports of transactions • Bag, box or wrap packages • Pleasantly deal with customers to ensure satisfaction Candidate Requirements- • Proven work experience as a Retail Cashier or similar role in a customer service environment • Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment (e.g. cash register, scanners, money counters) • Strong communication and time management skills • Customer satisfaction-oriented • Attention to detail and mathematical skills • High school degree Skills Strong numerical skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately • Excellent customer service and communication skills • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in handling payments and issuing receipts • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment • Basic computer skills for operating point-of-sale systems • Integrity and honesty in handling customer transactions and sensitive financial information • Multitasking abilities to handle multiple customers and transactions simultaneously Show more Show less
