Our services bring together document verification, biometrics, KYC and AML screening to help businesses create safer and more efficient onboarding journeys. As Goidentity grows across the UAE, UK and other international markets we are looking for a hands-on KYC, AML & Compliance Operations Manager to help us maintain high standards across customer verification, client onboarding and our wider business operations. The role You will take ownership of the day-to-day operational management of KYC, KYB and AML verification activity across Goidentity. This is a hands-on role. You will personally review cases, investigate exceptions, make documented risk-based decisions and help improve our policies and processes. You will work closely with clients, senior leadership, Operations, HR, Product and Technology. You will also use operational findings to help improve the Goidentity platform and the experience of businesses and individuals using it. The role is not currently positioned as an appointed MLRO role. However you should understand when and how potentially suspicious activity must be escalated to an authorised Compliance Officer or MLRO. What you will be responsible for KYC, KYB and AML operations • Review identity-verification results for individuals, companies, directors and beneficial owners • Conduct and oversee KYC, KYB, customer due diligence and enhanced due diligence reviews • Verify corporate structures, trade licences, ownership information and ultimate beneficial owners • Review Emirates ID, passports, UAE residency documents and international identity documents • Assess PEP, sanctions and adverse-media screening results • Screen against relevant UAE and international sanctions lists • Review source-of-funds and source-of-wealth evidence where appropriate • Investigate failed, inconclusive or potentially suspicious verification cases • Apply a documented risk-based approach when approving, rejecting or escalating cases • Support onboarding and periodic reviews for clients, customers, users, suppliers and other third parties • Maintain complete and audit-ready case files • Identify cases requiring escalation to the appropriate Compliance Officer or MLRO • Support authorised reporting and escalation processes including goAML where applicable Quality and operational management • Create quality-control checks for verification and due diligence decisions • Monitor case volumes, turnaround times, failure reasons, risk outcomes and service levels • Produce clear operational and compliance reporting for senior leadership • Identify recurring risks, control weaknesses and customer journey issues • Develop practical procedures, checklists, risk-rating models and escalation routes • Conduct periodic reviews to confirm that customer information remains accurate and current • Help prepare for client reviews, audits and regulatory enquiries • Deliver practical KYC and AML guidance to colleagues • Keep up to date with UAE AML/CFT/CPF, UBO, sanctions and digital identity developments Client and product support • Help Goidentity clients understand verification results and onboarding requirements • Support clients in designing proportionate KYC and AML workflows • Clearly explain that clients remain responsible for their own regulatory decisions and obligations • Work with Product and Technology teams to improve verification rules, workflows and user journeys • Review operational data to identify product improvements • Help test new identity, biometric, screening and verification features before release • Support the development of UAE-specific and international verification services HR and wider operations • Support employee and contractor identity and document-verification processes • Help HR maintain accurate onboarding, visa and employment-related records • Support appropriate checks for right to work, qualifications and employment documentation • Assist with supplier and business-partner due diligence • Improve operational policies, controls and record-management processes • Work across departments to promote a strong culture of quality, confidentiality and responsible decision-making What we are looking for • Strong hands-on experience in KYC, KYB, AML, customer due diligence or financial crime operations • Experience reviewing both individual and corporate customers • Good knowledge of CDD, EDD, PEPs, sanctions, adverse media, beneficial ownership and risk-based decision-making • Experience investigating complex or higher-risk cases • Understanding of UAE AML/CFT requirements and regulatory expectations • Sound judgement with the confidence to approve, reject or escalate cases based on evidence • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accurate record keeping • Experience creating or improving operational procedures and controls • Ability to analyse operational data and produce clear management information • Confidence communicating with clients, colleagues and senior stakeholders • Comfortable working in a growing technology business where processes continue to evolve • Willingness to manage the wider process while remaining personally involved in case reviews Desirable experience • Previous KYC, AML or compliance experience within the UAE • Experience with a bank, FinTech, RegTech, exchange house, law firm, accountancy practice, real-estate business, corporate-services provider or another regulated organisation • Experience using digital identity, biometric, document-verification, PEP, sanctions or adverse-media screening platforms • Knowledge of the UAE goAML reporting and escalation process • Understanding of UAE targeted financial sanctions and UBO requirements • Experience supporting businesses regulated by the Central Bank of the UAE, DFSA, FSRA, VARA, Ministry of Economy and Tourism or another UAE authority • ICA, ACAMS or another recognised AML or financial crime qualification • Experience working with product, engineering or software delivery teams • Arabic language skills would be beneficial but are not essential Why join Goidentity?
