Job Summary The Financial Analyst is qualified finance business partner which partners with the business and the business LOBs to drive actionable analytics across all key areas. He/she is a link between finance and management, acting as trusted advisors, providing valuable analysis and insights to influence the decision-making process. Job Responsibilities • Financial activities including producing periodical reports, cash flow analysis, financial strategy, budgeting and forecasting • Developing financial models and providing financial forecasts • Supports on front-end and back-end activities as required • Analyzing financial performance, providing financial KPIs • Reporting back to management on the company’s finances, setting and checking targets • Provide analysis and commentary against weekly and monthly performance • Monitoring departmental activities, auditing and overseeing all regulatory compliances and tax affairs • Providing analysis and insight, linking financial reports to business strategies • Introducing effective commercial strategy • Implementing changes to ensure that key targets are met • Building and maintaining relationships with senior managers and their departments • Acting as a financial advisor – offering financial support to decision makers. Proactively contribute to the delivery of a high performing, customer focused finance service to the delivery unit or commissioning area Qualifications & Education Requirements • 5+ years of financial consulting or accounting experience • Substantial experience in a business partnering related role, capitalizing on opportunities to drive performance through collaboration • Bachelors’ degree in Business Administration or Accounting/Finance • MBA (optional/added advantage) • Certifications (added advantage): CFC, CPA, ACCA, ACA • English mandatory, Arabic is plus Skills • Utilizing the best financial analysis and modeling practices to inform business and financial decisions • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret raw data and translate it into clear, concise information • The ability to explain complex financial data to non-finance individuals • Keeping up to date with current financial and accounting practices in the market • SAP, Oracle, SQL, PPT, Advanced Excel Show more Show less
