Job Title: Civil Engineer. Roles and Responsibilities: • Oversee and supervise civil works associated with EHV Cable installation. • Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements. • Coordinate civil activities with cable-laying and electrical teams. • Monitor site progress, quality, safety, and productivity. • Coordinate inspections, approvals, and as-built documentation. • Resolve site issues and ensure timely completion of assigned works. • Professional knowledge of Civil Construction Works. • Coordinate excavation and reinstatement around cable joints and termination locations. Job Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. • Proven experience in 132kV/220kV/ and or 400kV. • Preferably experienced in DEWA Transmission Cable Projects. • Candidates with DEWA / SEWA / Etihad WE project experience will be considered. • Strong technical knowledge of civil works related to EHV cable installation. • Hands-on experience in site execution, cable trenches, ducts, joint bays, manholes, excavation, backfilling, reinstatement, and associated civil works. • Ability to coordinate effectively with electrical, construction, QA/QC, HSE, consultants, and subcontractors. • Strong problem-solving and site management skills. • Professional attitude with sincerity, honesty, and commitment. • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.

Proven experience in 132kV/220kV/ and/or 400kV transmission projects.

Preferably experienced in DEWA Transmission Cable Projects.

Candidates with DEWA / SEWA / Etihad WE project experience will be considered.

Strong technical knowledge of civil works related to EHV cable installation.

Hands-on experience in site execution, cable trenches, ducts, joint bays, manholes, excavation, backfilling, reinstatement, and associated civil works.

Ability to coordinate effectively with electrical, construction, QA/QC, HSE, consultants, and subcontractors.

Strong problem-solving and site management skills.

Professional attitude with sincerity, honesty, and commitment.

Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
