Position: Site Engineer – Civil (Substation) Job Purpose The Site Engineer – Civil will support site execution activities for substation projects, ensuring construction activities are carried out according to approved drawings, DEWA standards, quality requirements, and project schedules. Key Responsibilities • Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site. • Ensure works are executed as per approved drawings and specifications. • Coordinate with contractors, supervisors, and project teams. • Monitor site progress and report updates to management. • Ensure compliance with DEWA standards and safety regulations. • Conduct site inspections and quality checks. • Assist in resolving technical and operational site issues. • Coordinate manpower, materials, and site resources. • Maintain site records and engineering documentation. • Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities. • Ensure timely completion of assigned project activities. Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering. • Minimum 3–7 years of experience in civil construction projects. • Experience in substation projects within the UAE is mandatory. • DEWA approval is mandatory. • Good understanding of civil site execution and utility project requirements. • Familiarity with UAE safety and quality standards. • Strong coordination and communication skills. • Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD. • Candidate must currently be available in the UAE.
