Role Description The Project Engineer Electrical and Mechanical is a full-time, on-site role based in the United Arab Emirates. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing electrical and mechanical project activities, including design review, equipment selection, and integration of control panels and associated systems. The position involves preparing technical documentation, drawings, and specifications; supervising installation, testing, and commissioning; and ensuring compliance with relevant standards, safety regulations, and client requirements. The Project Engineer collaborates with internal engineering, workshop, and site teams, as well as clients and subcontractors, to manage project schedules, monitor progress, and resolve technical issues. Day-to-day tasks include conducting site visits, performing inspections, supporting quality assurance, and contributing to continuous improvement of processes and solutions. Qualifications • Candidates should possess strong electrical engineering skills, including power distribution, control systems, panel design, and familiarity with relevant codes and standards. • Candidates should possess mechanical engineering capabilities, such as understanding of mechanical systems, equipment layouts, installation methods, and basic structural considerations. • Candidates should possess project management skills, including planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and documentation control for multidisciplinary projects. • Candidates should possess proficiency in technical tools, such as AutoCAD or similar CAD platforms, MS Office, and basic project tracking or ERP systems. • Candidates should possess knowledge of Oil & Gas and industrial sector practices, including safety regulations, QA/QC procedures, and site execution requirements. • Candidates should possess strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, technicians, clients, and contractors. • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline; equivalent practical experience may be considered. • Previous experience in the UAE or GCC region, particularly in Oil & Gas or Show more Show less
