Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Commercial Project Manager to oversee all commercial and contractual aspects of high-profile construction projects. This role is critical to maintaining financial discipline, contractual compliance, and commercial optimization from pre-contract award through to final account. Key Responsibilities • Advise senior management on commercial risk across all project phases. • Manage all contracts and subcontracts, including drafting, negotiation, and administration. • Lead development and execution of project-specific commercial strategies. • Monitor and control project financials, including cost reports, claims, and forecasting. • Ensure compliance with relevant legal frameworks, insurance, and contract standards. • Supervise procurement activities and track costs vs. project budgets. • Lead preparation and resolution of claims and disputes. • Drive commercial process improvements and system integrations. Qualifications & Experience • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in commercial/contract management with leading main contractors in the building construction sector. • In-depth knowledge of contractual law, procurement, and cost control best practices. • Proven leadership and negotiation skills with excellent commercial acumen. • Strong familiarity with UAE construction regulations, client expectations, and local market trends. • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. • Professional certification (e.g., MRICS, CIArb) is a plus.
