Key Responsibilities • Architect and design enterprise solutions on AS400/iSeries platforms. • Lead development teams in RPG (RPGLE, CL, COBOL) and DB2 database design. • Define system architecture, integration strategies, and performance optimization. • Ensure compliance with security, scalability, and reliability standards. • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to development teams. • Oversee migration, modernization, and performance tuning initiatives. • Document architecture frameworks, standards, and best practices. Required Skills & Competencies • Strong expertise in AS400/iSeries systems. • Advanced proficiency in RPG (RPGLE, CL, COBOL) programming. • Hands-on experience with DB2 database design, optimization, and administration. • Knowledge of system integration, middleware, and enterprise architecture frameworks. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Qualifications • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. • 10+ years of experience in AS400/iSeries development and architecture. • Proven track record of leading enterprise-scale projects in AS400 environments. • Experience in UAE or GCC region preferred.
