Mechanical Engineer

Position Overview: ** Hiring For a Client** The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems within the Material Handling Systems (MHS). This role involves preventive maintenance planning, problem-solving, and performance optimization to maintain high system reliability. Key Responsibilities: § Oversee and implement mechanical maintenance programs to ensure smooth operations. § Conduct inspections, fault diagnosis, and repairs of mechanical components. § Monitor system performance and recommend improvements for increased efficiency. § Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules. § Support and train technicians in maintenance procedures and troubleshooting techniques. § Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures. § Coordinate with other engineers and departments for integrated system performance. Requirements: § Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. § Minimum 3-6 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in automated systems or material handling & air cargo handling systems. § Experience in baggage handling systems, port automation, warehouse automation, or logistics operations. § Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. § Familiarity diagnostic tools and maintenance of Material Handling Systems (conveyors, cranes, hoists, etc.) and/or Air Cargo Handling Systems. § Ability to work independently and in a team environment. § Excellent English communication and team coordination abilities.
