Mechanical Engineer

We provide a highly professional environment that fosters technical excellence and career growth. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mechanical Engineer in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will design and supervise projects through their entire lifecycle, seamlessly bridging the gap between complex consultancy design and rigorous site supervision. You will ensure all mechanical systems (HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting) comply with local regulations, client requirements, and international engineering standards. Key Responsibilities • Execute detailed designs, engineering calculations, and technical specifications for mechanical systems. • Conduct on-site supervision, inspections, and quality audits to ensure construction matches approved design drawings. • Prepare 3D models, concept designs, schematic layouts, and final tender documents. • Review contractor submittals, shop drawings, Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), and Requests for Information (RFIs). • Collaborate closely with authorities, clients, architects, and multidisciplinary engineering teams. • Attend site meetings to resolve technical conflicts, design discrepancies, and progress bottlenecks. Qualifications • Must have proven experience working within an Engineering Consultancy. • Strong dual-track background in both Design and Construction Supervision of building services. • Proficiency in CAD and Revit MEP for 3D modeling, detailed drawings, and spatial coordination. • In-depth knowledge of UAE local regulations (e.g., ADM, ADCD, Estidama) and international codes (ASHRAE, NFPA). • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Equivalency or ADM registration is a strong advantage). • Excellent communication, report-writing, and engineering documentation skills. • Ability to work full-time on-site in Abu Dhabi and interface professionally with contractors and clients. • PQP is a plus.
