Role Description The Site Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Masqaţ, Oman, responsible for overseeing day-to-day construction activities and ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to specification. This role includes coordinating site teams and subcontractors, monitoring progress against plans, and enforcing quality, safety, and environmental standards. The Site Supervisor will review drawings and technical documents, plan daily work schedules, manage materials and equipment on site, and report status, risks, and issues to project management. The role also involves conducting site inspections, resolving on-site challenges, and supporting effective communication between engineers, contractors, suppliers, and clients. The Site Supervisor is expected to maintain accurate documentation, support compliance with local regulations, and contribute to continuous improvement in site operations. Qualifications • Strong technical knowledge of civil construction and infrastructure works, including reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, and method statements. • Experience supervising site operations, coordinating labor and subcontractors, and managing daily work plans and schedules. • Proficiency in applying health, safety, and environmental standards on construction sites, with a track record of promoting safe work practices. • Ability to monitor quality, conduct inspections, and ensure work complies with project requirements and relevant codes. • Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to guide diverse site teams and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders. • Basic proficiency in construction-related documentation, reporting, and use of standard project management or site coordination tools. • Relevant technical diploma or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred. • Previous experience as a Site Supervisor or comparable role in construction or infrastructure projects in the GCC region is an advantage. • Familiarity with local regulations and standards in Oman and willingness to work Show more Show less
