On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team in Dubai. This role is ideal for a fully qualified finance professional with strong experience in accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, reconciliations, compliance, and IFRS. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely reporting across the business. Key Responsibilities: • Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including bookkeeping, journal entries, receipts, and payments • Prepare weekly and monthly financial and sales reports in line with IFRS • Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions • Perform bank, AP, and AR reconciliations • Support cash flow management, budgeting, and financial analysis • Conduct debtor ageing analysis and maintain vendor records • Ensure UAE VAT, Indian GST and corporate tax compliance, including tax computations and reporting • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities • Support internal and external audits and maintain audit-ready documentation • Liaise with banks, clients, and relevant stakeholders as required Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field • Fully qualified accountant—ACCA, CA, CMA or equivalent qualification is mandatory • 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience • Strong working knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting • Hands-on experience with Indian taxation, including GST, as well as UAE VAT and corporate tax • Strong knowledge of AP, AR, reconciliations, taxation, and compliance • Advanced Excel skills are essential • ZOHO experience is essential If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply with your updated CV.
