Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Engineer role based in Abu Dhabi. The Electrical Engineer will design, review, and implement electrical systems for residential and commercial projects, including power distribution, lighting, and safety-related installations. Daily responsibilities include preparing technical drawings and specifications, conducting load calculations, coordinating with project managers and site teams, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and international standards. The role also involves inspecting installations, troubleshooting electrical issues, overseeing testing and commissioning, and working closely with multidisciplinary teams covering telecommunications, fire alarm, security, HVAC, and other building services. The Electrical Engineer will contribute to project planning, cost estimation, and continuous improvement of engineering practices and documentation. Qualifications • Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Engineering and Electricity concepts, with a solid understanding of industry standards and safety practices. • Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Design and Power Distribution for residential and commercial building systems. • Candidates should possess skills in Power Systems analysis, including load calculation, fault analysis, and system protection coordination. • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field. • Experience in building services, construction, or technical contracting, preferably within the UAE or GCC region. • Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (such as IEC, BS, or local authority requirements). • Proficiency with electrical design software and CAD tools, and ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics. • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to work collaboratively on-site with diverse teams. • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage but not required.
