The ideal candidate will be responsible for working cross-functionally to understand architecture needs by multiple business units. To be effective in this position, you must feel comfortable owning the entire architecture development process from inception to completion. Responsibilities • Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and design customized cybersecurity solutions. • Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients, translating complex technical concepts into clear business value. • Provide technical guidance and leadership during the pre-sales process, ensuring alignment between client needs and proposed solutions. • Create detailed technical proposals and design documents, highlighting how company's solutions will meet customer requirements. • Lead the discovery process to identify technical and business challenges, providing expert advice on how our solutions can address those challenges. • Stay up-to-date with cybersecurity technologies, tools, and industry trends, leveraging this knowledge to develop innovative solutions. • Work closely with internal teams (engineering, product, and post-sales) to ensure smooth transitions from pre-sales to delivery. • Act as a subject matter expert on cybersecurity offerings, supporting account teams in client engagements and RFP responses. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. • 10+ years of experience in a pre-sales or solutions architect role, ideally within the cybersecurity space. • Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, tools, and technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption, identity management, SIEM). • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Proven track record of designing and architecting successful security solutions for mid-market and enterprise clients. • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, client-focused attitude. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
