Legal Operations Manager - Fixed Term Assignments

About the Job We are seeking experienced Legal Operations professionals to join RAYNE to support our clients across Dubai & Abu Dhabi on 6 month+ fixed term assignments. These opportunities require a mixture of remote and on-site presence. You will work closely with General Counsel and in-house legal teams to optimise legal operations, improve processes, implement legal technology, and drive greater efficiency across the legal function. Key Responsibilities • Partner with General Counsel and legal teams to improve the day-to-day operations of the legal function. • Manage legal department budgets, forecasting, reporting, and external vendor relationships. • Implement and optimise legal technology solutions, including AI tools, CLM platforms, eBilling, and other legal operations systems. • Develop and improve legal processes, workflows, reporting, and dashboards to enhance efficiency and visibility. • Work closely with stakeholders across Finance, Procurement, Compliance, and the wider business to support strategic initiatives. • Drive continuous improvement projects that enhance legal service delivery and operational performance. Qualifications • 5+ years’ experience in Legal Operations within an in-house legal team or leading law firm. • Strong experience managing legal department budgets, reporting, and operational processes. • Demonstrated knowledge of legal technology platforms and AI solutions that improve legal team performance. • Excellent project management, stakeholder management, and communication skills. • Commercially minded with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational excellence. • Regional experience required. • A legal qualification is advantageous but not essential.
