General Purpose of the Position To contribute to the implementation and development of managerial accounting and cost accounting practices by collecting and analysing financial and operational data, and preparing analytical reports and models that support decision-making, enhance resource efficiency, and contribute to the entity’s strategic objectives. Duties and Responsibilities • Contribute to the preparation and implementation of managerial accounting and cost accounting projects in accordance with approved methodologies. • Collect and analyse operating and capital cost data and prepare analytical reports to support decision-making. • Participate in developing cost accounting models and identifying cost centres and cost drivers in coordination with the relevant stakeholders. • Support the preparation of policies, procedures, and guidelines related to managerial accounting and cost accounting. • Analyze variances between planned and actual costs and provide recommendations to improve spending efficiency. • Contribute to the preparation of required financial and economic studies. • Prepare periodic reports for the direct manager, including results, challenges, and recommendations. • Contribute to building and updating financial databases used for analysis and reporting. • Participate in workshops and meetings related to the development of financial systems and policies. Technical Competencies Managerial accounting and cost accounting, financial analysis and reporting, financial modelling, use of the SAP financial system, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Academic Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent field. Required Years of Experience A minimum of 3 years of practical experience, preferably in managerial accounting, cost accounting, or financial analysis.
