Senior Electrical Engineer Industry: Real Estate Developer About The Role Ohana Development is seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our project delivery team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both consulting and contracting environments, with proven expertise in complex high-rise and tower developments. This is a site-based role, requiring hands-on involvement in execution, coordination, and supervision of electrical works. Key Responsibilities • Oversee and manage all electrical works on-site for high-rise/tower projects • Review and validate design drawings, specifications, and BOQs • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution • Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and project specifications • Monitor project progress, quality, and timelines for electrical systems • Lead testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems • Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions on-site • Participate in project meetings and provide progress updates Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering • Strong experience in both consulting and contracting firms minimum of 15 years • Proven track record in complex projects, high-rise towers, and large-scale developments • Extensive knowledge of MEP systems, codes, and standards (UAE/GCC preferred) • Experience working in site-based roles • Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications • UAE experience is highly preferred • Professional certifications or memberships (e.g., IEEE or PMI) Show more Show less
