Position Overview: The IT Project Manager is responsible for driving strategic technology programs that support business transformation, digital innovation, regulatory compliance, and modernization of insurance technology platforms. The role requires strong leadership capabilities and extensive experience in managing complex technology initiatives within the insurance industry, including life insurance. What You Will Lead: • Deliver large-scale technology initiatives across the insurance industry, including life insurance, covering product launches, core platform implementations and migrations, digital transformation programs, and regulatory change initiatives. • Lead programs involving insurance operations, digital channels, enterprise integrations, and business-critical platforms. • Define delivery strategies, implementation roadmaps, governance models, and success measures. • Manage multiple projects, dependencies, budgets, resources, and competing priorities while ensuring alignment with business objectives. • Provide regular updates to executive management and steering committees on progress, risks, financials, and key decisions. • Drive collaboration among business teams, technology teams, vendors, and external partners to achieve successful programme outcomes. • Ensure projects deliver measurable business value while adhering to regulatory, security, and governance requirements. • Promote continuous improvement in delivery methodologies, standards, and project governance practices. Experience & Qualifications • Minimum 10 years of experience in IT project and program delivery. • Minimum 5 years of experience delivering technology initiatives within the insurance industry, including life insurance. • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. • Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum is highly desirable. Insurance Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of insurance business processes and technology ecosystems, including: • Policy Administration and Servicing Platforms • Underwriting and New Business Processing • Claims Management and Settlement Processes • Product Lifecycle Management • Premium Billing and Collections • Reinsurance Administration • Digital Customer Platforms and Distribution Channels • AML, KYC, and Insurance Regulatory Requirements • Regulatory Reporting and Data Analytics Preferred Background: • Experience with core insurance platforms, policy administration systems, and claims solutions. • Experience delivering customer portals, digital initiatives, and enterprise integration programs. • Exposure to cloud technologies, enterprise applications, and data-driven transformation initiatives. • Practical experience with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
