Job Summary: Spacetech Engineering is seeking a qualified Civil Engineer or Similar with expertise in Site assessments, and structural evaluation for villa and warehouse construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong field experience in Destructive Testing (DT) and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), soil investigation coordination, and preparing comprehensive technical reports. This role focuses on site-based activities and engineering assessments responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: • Perform Destructive Testing (DT) & Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) using equipment such as rebound hammers, ultrasonic pulse velocity testers, rebar locators, and cover meters for structural integrity assessments. • Conduct comprehensive site assessments and condition surveys for existing structures, identifying defects, deterioration, and structural concerns. • Perform visual inspections and technical evaluations of foundations, structural elements, and site conditions. • Prepare detailed structural assessment reports with foundation recommendations, soil bearing capacity analysis, and construction advisories. • Coordinate with structural engineers, architects, contractors, and project managers to ensure geotechnical and site assessment findings are properly integrated. • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and verify compliances. • Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance during field investigations and site activities. Requirements: • Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or related field. • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in site investigations, preferably in the UAE. • Strong technical writing, reporting, and documentation skills will be an added advantage. • Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office applications. • Valid UAE driving license will be an added advantage. Preferred Skills: • Familiarity with Dubai Municipality, and other UAE local authority requirements. • Understanding of foundation design principles, soil mechanics, and soil-structure interaction. • Ability to prepare comprehensive structural assessment reports with clear engineering recommendations. • Experience in villa and warehouse construction projects with understanding of foundation systems and site conditions. • Experience with advanced NDT techniques including GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar) and cover meter surveys.
