Job Description WSP is seeking an Architect - Landscape to join our Abu Dhabi team, supporting the planning, design, and delivery of high-profile landscape, public realm, transportation, and infrastructure projects across the UAE. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of innovative, sustainable, and context-sensitive landscape design solutions while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams throughout all project stages. Responsibilities • Prepare landscape design concepts, schematic designs, detailed designs, and construction documentation. • Develop landscape plans, hardscape layouts, planting designs, and public realm design solutions. • Support the delivery of transportation, infrastructure, urban development, and landscape projects. • Coordinate with architecture, urban design, roads, utilities, and multidisciplinary engineering teams. • Prepare design presentations, reports, specifications, and technical documentation. • Assist in developing sustainable and resilient landscape design solutions. • Ensure compliance with client requirements, project objectives, and local authority standards. • Participate in design reviews, project meetings, and stakeholder workshops. • Support project delivery from concept design through detailed design and construction phases. • Review consultant and contractor submissions related to landscape works. • Contribute to project quality, technical excellence, and timely delivery of design outputs. • Assist in the preparation of visualizations, design narratives, and presentation materials. Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or a related discipline. • 5-10 years of relevant landscape architecture experience. • Proven experience on landscape, public realm, transportation, infrastructure, or urban development projects. • Strong consultancy experience within multidisciplinary design environments. • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office. • Experience with Revit, Civil 3D, Lumion, Enscape, Rhino, or similar visualization software is preferred. • Strong knowledge of landscape design principles, hardscape materials, planting design, and urban realm development. • Familiarity with UAE authority requirements and landscape standards. • Strong graphic, presentation, and technical report writing skills. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. • Experience working on projects within the UAE or GCC region is preferred. • Membership of a recognized professional institution is advantageous. • Consultant-side landscape design experience is essential.
