Resident Engineer (RE) – Electrical 📍 Location: UAE 💼 Experience: 8+ Years Responsibilities • Supervise electrical construction activities for 132kV GIS/AIS Substation projects. • Ensure work complies with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, clients, and TRANSCO stakeholders. • Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements. • Monitor installation, testing, commissioning, and project progress. • Prepare progress reports and maintain project documentation. Required Skills • Mandatory experience in 132kV GIS/AIS Substation projects. • Strong knowledge of HV electrical systems, transformers, GIS/AIS switchgear, protection systems, cable installation, and power distribution. • Experience in testing & commissioning of 132kV substations. • Knowledge of IEC/IEEE standards and utility specifications. • Ability to read SLDs, protection schematics, and electrical drawings. • Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
