The Senior Analyst will lead financial planning, analysis, and performance management for data center projects and operations. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, cost control, investment evaluation, and supports strategic decision-making for high-value infrastructure and digital projects. 1. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning for data center projects. • Develop financial models for new data center investments (CAPEX-heavy projects). • Analyse revenue streams including colocation, cloud services, and leasing models. • Monitor financial performance vs. budget and identify variances with actionable insights 2. Project Financial Management • Partner with project managers and engineering teams to track project costs, timelines, and ROI. • Ensure proper cost allocation across construction, infrastructure, and operations. • Evaluate project feasibility, IRR, NPV, and payback period for new developments. • Support procurement and contract evaluation from a financial perspective. 3. Cost Control & Optimization • Monitor operational costs including energy consumption, maintenance, staffing, and vendor contracts. • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising performance or uptime. • Implement financial controls and governance across all data center operations. 4. Reporting & Stakeholder Management • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management. • Develop dashboards and KPIs (e.g., cost per MW, utilization rates, EBITDA margins). • Present financial insights to executives and support strategic decisions. • Liaise with auditors, investors, and external stakeholders when required. 5. Investment & Business Strategy • Support mergers, acquisitions, or expansion strategies related to digital infrastructure. • Conduct market analysis and benchmarking against competitors. • Assist in pricing strategy for data center services. 6. Systems & Process Improvement • Work closely with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle Fusion, SAP) and project systems (e.g., PMWeb). • Enhance financial reporting automation and data accuracy. • Drive digital transformation initiatives in finance processes Qualifications & Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field • MBA or professional certification (CFA, ACCA, CPA) preferred • 5+ years in finance, with strong experience in Data Centers • Financial Modeling and Investment analysis • Experience working with CAPEX-intensive environments is essential Technical Skills • Advanced financial modelling (Excel, Power BI preferred) • ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, etc.) • Strong understanding of CAPEX vs OPEX structures, ROI, IRR, NPV analysis • Cost allocation and project accounting Core Competencies • Strong analytical and strategic thinking • High attention to detail • Ability to work cross-functionally (engineering, procurement, operations) • Strong presentation and communication skills Show more Show less
