WE ARE HIRING – SENIOR ACCOUNTANT CUM HR & ADMIN EXECUTIVE A well-established Construction, Building Maintenance and Facilities Management Company in Dubai is seeking an experienced and reliable Senior Accountant cum HR & Administration Executive to independently manage the company’s accounts, UAE tax compliance, payroll, labour documentation and daily administrative activities. Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting, Finance & Zoho • Independently manage the company’s complete accounts using Zoho Books/Zoho Finance Software. • Record and monitor sales invoices, purchase invoices, receipts, payments, expenses and journal entries. • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, supplier payments and customer outstanding follow-ups. • Prepare bank reconciliations, cash-flow statements, profit and loss reports, balance sheets and management reports. • Maintain project-wise accounting records, including labour costs, material expenses, subcontractor payments and project profitability. • Manage petty cash and daily operational expenses with proper supporting documents and approvals. • Verify purchase orders, delivery notes, supplier invoices and payment documents. • Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, suppliers and customers. • Ensure all financial records are accurate, updated and properly filed. UAE VAT & Taxation • Independently prepare and file UAE VAT returns accurately and within the required deadlines. • Maintain complete input VAT and output VAT records. • Review tax invoices, credit notes, debit notes and supporting documentation for compliance. • Handle VAT reconciliations, VAT payable and refundable calculations. • Manage all matters related to the Federal Tax Authority, including registrations, amendments, queries and documentation. • Maintain proper records for UAE Corporate Tax compliance and coordinate the filing of Corporate Tax returns. • Assist with tax audits, assessments and requests for supporting documents. • Keep the company compliant with all applicable UAE taxation and accounting requirements. Payroll & Employee Accounts • Prepare monthly employee and worker salary sheets. • Calculate overtime, allowances, deductions, advances, leave salary and final settlements. • Process salaries through the WPS system and maintain proper payroll records. • Coordinate with site supervisors regarding attendance, overtime, absences and employee deductions. • Maintain employee loan, advance and salary deduction records. HR, Visa & Labour Administration • Maintain complete records of employees and workers, including passports, visas, Emirates IDs, labour contracts, insurance and personal documents. • Coordinate with the company typist or PRO for: • New employment visas • Visa renewals • Visa cancellations • Medical fitness applications • Emirates ID applications and renewals • Labour contracts and work permits • Status changes and establishment-related applications • Employee insurance and other labour documentation • Monitor visa, passport, Emirates ID, labour card and insurance expiry dates. • Arrange renewals before expiry to avoid penalties or operational delays. • Handle employee onboarding, offboarding, leave records and final settlements. • Maintain confidential HR and employee documentation. • Support management with general administration and daily office requirements. Mandatory Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field. • Minimum 4–5 years of accounting experience in the UAE or GCC. • Previous experience in a construction, contracting, building maintenance or facilities management company is highly preferred. • Strong and proven experience using Zoho Books/Zoho Accounting Software is mandatory. • Must have complete practical knowledge of: • UAE VAT preparation and filing • UAE Corporate Tax compliance • Federal Tax Authority procedures • Accounts payable and receivable • Bank reconciliation • Payroll and WPS • Petty cash and daily expense management • Financial reporting and audit coordination • Good knowledge of UAE labour procedures, visa processing and employee documentation. • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. • Ability to independently handle the company’s full accounts and taxation matters. • Must be trustworthy, responsible, organised and detail-oriented. • Strong English communication skills are required. • Immediate joiners will be given preference.
