Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced General Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with company policies and UAE regulations. Key Responsibilities: • Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and bookkeeping. • Setting up the accounting system in Tally accounting software. • Organize and maintain financial records. • Compiles and analyses financial information to prepare entries to book of accounts such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions and allocating expenses etc. • Analyse daily banking transactions and prepare bank reconciliation statement each month. • Reconcile sub-ledger accounts such as inventory, customer and supplier accounts. • Monitor compliance with generally accepted accounting Principles and company procedures. • Reviews, investigates and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents and reports. • Suggest ways to reduce costs, enhance revenues and improve profits. • Provide advice, assistance and early warning of such problems as cost over-runs, excessive charges and potential penalties. • Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential. • Identifying and resolving the issues relating to the customer and vendor payments and making proper solution to their queries. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE. Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations is an advantage. Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and organizational skills.
