Job Summary On behalf of Huawei, a world-renowned IT and Communications Company, we are seeking a Legal Counsel to support our rapidly growing Cloud and Digital Energy businesses. The successful candidate will provide legal support across commercial transactions, regulatory compliance, contract negotiations, and corporate legal matters while working closely with cross-functional business teams. Key Responsibilities • Provide legal advice relating to UAE Commercial Law, Telecommunications Law, Civil Law, Labour Law, Personal Data Protection Law, Cybercrime Law, and other applicable regulations. • Support Huawei's Cloud Computing and Digital Energy (Solar) businesses from a legal and regulatory perspective. • Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements with customers, suppliers and strategic partners. • Identify legal risks and recommend commercially practical solutions. • Advise internal stakeholders on regulatory compliance and day-to-day legal matters. • Coordinate with external law firms and manage external legal services. • Support internal departments on legal governance and contract-related matters. • Assist in legal research, compliance initiatives and policy implementation. • Perform additional legal assignments as required. Requirements • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Law. • Minimum 2 years of relevant legal experience. Fresh graduates with excellent academic records may also be considered. • Experience in commercial contract drafting and negotiation. • Strong knowledge of UAE legal and regulatory framework. • Excellent analytical and legal research skills. • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. • Fluent English (written and spoken). • Arabic and/or Mandarin Chinese language skills are highly preferred. • Experience within multinational companies or international law firms is an advantage.
