The Role We are looking for a Manager - Government Business Development (Arabic Speaker) to join RAK Porcelain. This role will be responsible for identifying, developing, and converting business opportunities within government entities, public sector organizations, protocol offices, and institutional customers across the UAE. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding RAK Porcelain’s presence in the government segment by building strategic relationships, promoting hospitality and gifting solutions, and supporting business growth through public-sector engagement. What You Will Be Doing • Identify and develop business opportunities within ministries, government authorities, public institutions, and protocol offices • Build and maintain strong relationships with government stakeholders, decision-makers, and institutional buyers • Promote RAK Porcelain’s hospitality, tabletop, gifting, and customized porcelain solutions • Collaborate closely with commercial teams to convert opportunities into leads, quotations, tenders, and orders • Track upcoming government requirements, institutional projects, hospitality initiatives, and official gifting opportunities • Coordinate with internal teams including sales, design, production, supply chain, and finance to support customer requirements • Support participation in government tenders, procurement opportunities, exhibitions, and official events • Prepare opportunity pipeline reports, stakeholder updates, and presentations for senior management What We Are Looking For Some of the key competencies required for the role include: Functional • Strong experience in business development, government sales, or public-sector account management • Strong understanding of the UAE government and public-sector ecosystem • Proven ability to build strategic relationships and convert opportunities into revenue • Strong presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills Behavioural • Excellent communicator with strong networking and influencing skills • Relationship-focused and confident in engaging senior stakeholders • Commercially driven with a proactive and results-oriented mindset • Well-organized, collaborative, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Our Ideal Match • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline • 6–8 years of experience in business development, government sales, institutional sales, public-sector engagement, or related fields • Arabic and English fluency is mandatory • Previous experience working with UAE government entities, public institutions, or protocol-related business requirements is highly preferred • Experience in hospitality products, tabletop, giftware, luxury goods, ceramics, porcelain, interiors, hotels, or institutional supplies is an advantage RAK Ceramics is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
