Electrical Design Engineer

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Solar Design Engineer to join our growing team in Dubai. In this role, you will play a part in advancing our renewable energy projects, with a primary focus on designing grid-connected rooftop solar PV systems. Key Responsibilities • Design and engineer commercial and residential grid-connected rooftop solar PV systems. • Manage end-to-end DEWA Shams Dubai submissions, approvals, and net-metering processes. • Ensure absolute compliance with all DEWA regulations, codes, and industry best practices. Qualifications & Experience • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of professional experience dedicated to Solar PV design. • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and PVsyst. • Regulatory Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the DEWA Shams Dubai application, approval, and net-metering frameworks. Preferred Qualifications • Previous experience working with a DEWA-registered or Dubai Municipality (DM) licensed contractor is a distinct advantage. • Prior professional experience within the UAE.
