Senior Legal Counsel l UAE We are supporting a major multinational with the appointment of a Senior Legal Counsel for its West Africa region. Based in Dubai, this role will strengthen the organisation’s legal capability, improve responsiveness to regional business needs, and ensure consistent governance across OHADA jurisdictions. Scope of the Role • Provide legal support across West African markets • Advise on commercial contracts, corporate matters, and transactional work • Deliver legal risk assessments and support strategic decision‑making • Support M&A, expansion, and cross‑border projects • Ensure compliance with OHADA laws and regulatory frameworks • Engage with senior management across Dubai and regional offices • Contribute to governance, policy development, and internal legal processes • Support the centralisation and optimisation of the Group’s legal function Key Requirements • 10+ years PQE • Strong background in commercial contracts, corporate advisory, and transactional work • Experience within OHADA jurisdictions is essential • Fluent in French and English • Prior exposure to Francophone markets • Ability to operate independently with minimal reliance on external counsel This opportunity offers the chance to join a dynamic organisation with a strong growth trajectory and a centralised leadership team based in Dubai.
