RAYNE is expanding its consultant team and is seeking experienced IP Lawyers based in Dubai & Abu Dhabi to join our growing practice. As a consultant at RAYNE, you will be embedded directly within client organisations, functioning as a genuine extension of their in-house teams, backed throughout every engagement by RAYNE. We are currently growing our team across multiple seniority levels and locations throughout the GCC, with particular interest in Dubai & Abu Dhabi-based professionals with strong experience in trademark, patent, and copyright matters. Key Responsibilities • Advise on trademark, copyright, patent, and design rights protection, registration, and enforcement. • Draft, review, and negotiate licensing agreements, IP assignments, franchise agreements, and technology transfer agreements. • Provide legal guidance on IP portfolio management, brand protection strategies, and anti-counterfeiting measures. • Conduct IP due diligence and risk assessments in connection with corporate transactions and commercial deals. • Manage IP disputes, infringement matters, and enforcement actions, including liaison with regulatory bodies and local authorities. • Support cross-border IP matters, ensuring compliance with international and regional regulations. Qualifications • 5+ years PQE admitted in a major international jurisdiction. • 5+ years of IP experience at either a top-tier international law firm or in-house within an IP/legal function. • Strong background in trademarks, patents, copyright, and licensing. • Proven ability to handle complex IP portfolios and enforcement matters. • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. • Regional experience required. • Arabic language skills is a plus but not required.
