In addition to exhibitions and artist-led initiatives, the Gallery develops multidisciplinary projects connecting contemporary art, architecture, interior design, technology and cultural experience. We are seeking professionals capable of helping us create distinctive environments in which architecture is not simply a backdrop, but an integral part of the artistic concept. About the Role Arturo Palomba Gallery LLC is seeking an experienced and design-driven Architect to contribute to the development of gallery spaces, private cultural environments, exhibition concepts and multidisciplinary architectural projects in Dubai. The successful candidate will work at the intersection of architecture, contemporary art and experiential design, collaborating with artists, interior designers, engineers, smart-home specialists and real-estate professionals. This opportunity is particularly suited to an architect interested in creating refined, flexible and technologically integrated spaces for exhibitions, performances, collectors and cultural events. Key Responsibilities • Develop architectural concepts for galleries, exhibition spaces and private cultural environments. • Prepare spatial layouts, feasibility studies, drawings and project presentations. • Translate artistic and curatorial ideas into functional architectural solutions. • Design flexible spaces suitable for exhibitions, performances, private events and changing installations. • Collaborate with interior designers, lighting specialists, engineers and smart-home professionals. • Coordinate architectural requirements with contractors, suppliers and technical consultants. • Support the selection of materials, finishes, fixtures and architectural details. • Integrate lighting, acoustics, security, climate control and artwork-display requirements. • Review existing properties and assess their suitability for cultural or gallery use. • Ensure that projects comply with applicable local regulations, approvals and technical standards. • Participate in site visits, project meetings and construction reviews. • Prepare visual presentations for the Gallery’s management, partners and stakeholders. • Contribute to projects combining architecture, contemporary art and immersive cultural experiences. Required Qualifications • Degree in Architecture from a recognised institution. • Professional experience in architectural design and project development. • Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality residential, commercial, hospitality, gallery or cultural projects. • Advanced knowledge of architectural drawings, space planning and materials. • Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant three-dimensional modelling or visualisation software. • Ability to develop projects from initial concept through technical coordination. • Strong attention to detail and design quality. • Excellent communication and presentation skills. • Professional working proficiency in English. • Availability to attend meetings and site visits in Dubai.
