Freelance Project Manager Short Term Contract – Project Based - UAE & KSA Founded in 2013, Maestra, part of the Arena Group, is a leading multi-disciplined supplier servicing the Events, Exhibitions, and Live Experiences industry across the Middle East. With capabilities spanning Carpentry & Joinery, CNC Machining, Paint Finishing, Metalwork, Temporary Structures, and Modular Solutions, we deliver world-class projects through innovation, craftsmanship, and operational excellence. We are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Project Manager to join our team on a short-term project basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and delivery of complex event, exhibition, temporary structure, and modular construction projects from inception through to completion. This role requires a hands-on leader capable of managing multiple stakeholders, fast-track schedules, and high-profile client requirements while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. What you’ll do • Lead the full project lifecycle from planning, budgeting, procurement, and resource allocation through execution and project close-out. • Manage project programmes, timelines, budgets, deliverables, and reporting requirements. • Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure successful project delivery. • Oversee all on-site activities, ensuring compliance with quality, health, safety, and operational standards. • Identify and mitigate project risks while proactively resolving issues that may impact delivery. • Monitor project performance, costs, schedules, and resources to ensure commercial and operational objectives are achieved. • Drive effective communication between stakeholders and provide regular project updates and progress reports. • Lead project teams, ensuring clear direction, accountability, and high performance throughout the project lifecycle. • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure a positive customer experience from start to finish. • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to operational best practices across the business. • Ability to effectively coordinate with the inhouse production facility.
