Job Purpose Own the end to end planning function, synchronising supply and demand to deliver best-in-class outcomes across channels and categories. Through effective leadership and cross-functional collaboration, drive superior product availability while optimising inventory and working capital. Key Position Accountabilities Strategy, Governance & Leadership • Define and govern the end-to-end supply chain planning strategy aligned to business objectives (growth, service, working capital) • Own, chair, and mature the S&OP/IBP cadence, ensuring one aligned plan across Demand, Supply, and Finance • Optimise inventory strategy aimed at delivering improved service level to all channels whilst minimising working capital • Align at the channel level to drive integrated planning through ranging and replenishment strategy • Drive continuous improvement of planning processes, data governance, and systems adoption Performance & Financial Outcomes • Own planning impact on P&L drivers: service levels, inventory investment, write-offs/obsolescence, working capital, KPI’s, etc. • Lead annual/quarterly planning targets and risk mitigation plans for inventory and availability • Partner with Finance to translate plans into financial outlooks and scenario options Stakeholder Partnership • Build strong collaboration with Commercial/Category / Channel leaders to align priorities, promotions, and assortment changes with supply capability, whilst also holding them to account • Ensure clear governance across channels with agreed service targets and inventory policies • Enable cross-functional collaboration and fast resolution of planning execution blockers Selection Criteria Essential: • At least 10 years of Supply Chain experience within FMCG/F&B • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or Business Management (or equivalent) • Understanding/Experience working with an ERP and business planning tools • Prior S&OP/IBP experience • Knowledge in International purchasing • Process-oriented with a systematic approach to issues • Highly analytical & numerate, with the ability to interpret large amounts of information • Ability to effectively communicate, influence, and challenge others • Process-oriented with a systematic approach to issues Critical Competencies These are the competencies that the job holder will be evaluated on in accordance with the Performance Management processes: • Customer Focus • Passion • Teamwork • Knowledge and Skills • Integrity • Planning and Organizing • Influence • Strong Numerical and Analytical Thinking • Communication Show more Show less
