Manager - Project

Responsibilities Core Responsibilities • Manage all the activities across ports medium-scale projects to enable successful delivery. • Handle ports medium-scale project risks, resolve issues with the relevant parties and update mitigation plans to ensure project success. • Responsible to ensure ports project compliance to group governance, external stakeholder, and cluster requirements. • Support in managing the interfaces and dependencies across ports medium-scale project, clusters, and external parties. • Promote HSE culture and activities in the construction activities across ports project. • Prepare reports to the management for all ports project delivery related matters and present performance improvement initiatives based on current activities, data analysis and forecasting study. • Liaise with ports medium-scale project owners and review the assigned specifications, standards, and procedures to meet project requirements and achieve objectives. People Management Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain a positive and collaborative culture between project teams, supply chain and other stakeholders for the betterment of the AD Ports group. Strategic Responsibilities • Develop and maintain relationships with other projects, suppliers, consultants, and contractors. • Support the development and continuous improvement of departmental working practices. Identify and support improvement initiatives Qualifications Educational and Technical Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (engineering, construction management, project management, etc.) Language Skills: • Excellent English. Arabic is an added advantage Years of Experience: • A minimum of 12-15 years of experience in a similar role Nature of Experience: • Proven experience in delivering construction projects in maritime environment. • Experience as a senior project manager or in a programme management position. • Working in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment. • Preferably have work in both construction and consultancy organisations. • Cultural sensitivity and adaptability. • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization. • Experience in project management including the ability to plan, execute and oversee projects from concept to implementation.
