Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Dubai. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing financial statements and reports. Responsibilities include handling accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank and account balances, monitoring cash flow, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. The role also involves ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations, supporting audits, and collaborating with internal teams to provide accurate financial data for decision-making. Qualifications • Accounting specialization in the travel industry is a must. • Strong proficiency in general accounting, including journal entries, ledger management, and financial statement preparation. • Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, invoicing, and reconciliations. • Ability to manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow tracking to support business planning. • Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems, along with solid MS Excel skills and Zoho Books. • Knowledge of relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements. • Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and a structured approach to problem-solving. • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. • Previous experience in accounting within the travel, tourism, or service industry is mandatory.
