About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to manage the company’s day-to-day accounting operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, managing transactions, and ensuring compliance with UAE accounting, VAT, and regulatory requirements. This role works closely with management to support informed business decisions and improve financial processes. Key Responsibilities * Manage day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records. * Record financial transactions, prepare journal entries, and reconcile general ledger accounts. * Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, including supplier and client reconciliations. * Perform monthly bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow. * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. * Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. * Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and other statutory requirements. * Support internal and external audits by preparing the required documentation. * Process and maintain accounting records using Zoho Books, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up to date. * Maintain a basic understanding of UAE Anti-Money Laundering AML regulations and support compliance with AML policies and reporting requirements. * Identify opportunities to improve accounting procedures and internal controls. * Work closely with other departments to support business operations and financial planning. Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the real estate industry. * Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications, Zoho Books experience is must * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. * Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
