Role Description The Senior Mechanical Supervision Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, responsible for overseeing mechanical works on construction and infrastructure projects. This role includes supervising installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications, local regulations, and industry standards. The engineer will conduct regular site inspections, review technical drawings and CAD models, and coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other engineering disciplines to resolve design and construction issues. Daily tasks involve monitoring maintenance and performance of mechanical systems, preparing progress reports, documenting non-conformities, and recommending corrective actions. The position also requires supporting project planning, reviewing submittals and material approvals, and contributing to continuous improvement in safety, quality, and efficiency on site. Qualifications • Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, with experience in building services, infrastructure, or related fields. • Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for reviewing and coordinating mechanical drawings and models. • Hands-on experience in Maintenance and Inspection of mechanical systems to ensure reliability and compliance. • Background in Automotive or similar mechanical industries, with practical understanding of mechanical components and systems. • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline; advanced degree or professional certification is an advantage. • Proven experience in site supervision on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects, preferably in the Middle East. • Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and local regulations applicable to mechanical works in Dubai. • Effective communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and manage stakeholders. • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and quality practices. • Ability to work on site in Dubai full time, with flexibility to manage project schedules and deadlines.
