Senior Operations Manager (Cars)

As a Senior Operations Manager, you will be responsible for owning the Operations of dubizzle Cars, including but not limited to Inspections, Logistics, Inventory management, & Transfers across the UAE. You will partner with cross-functional teams to lead operational Process Improvement, Product Optimisation and Resource Efficiency. • Own on-ground operations and the different functions within them. • Guide the team on effectively handling customer complaints related to business and operations. • Synthesise new business processes to drive efficiency whilst improving the customer experience • Analyse daily, weekly, and monthly reports to improve process and service procedures, policies, and standards. • Co-create flows with concerned departments on business processes and any client complaints • Support the Inspections function by creating flows to optimise time whilst maintaining quality; follow strict hiring protocols to ensure we hire the very best the UAE has to offer • Mentor and develop the operations team, and nurture an environment where they can excel through encouragement and empowerment • Oversee forecasting requirements; preparation of the annual budget; scheduling of expenditures; analysis of variances; and initiation of corrective actions • Manage KPIs and track team member performance, including frequent audits on assets/ SOP adherence/SLA Breaches • Own our product (CRM + Inspection App) to drive sustainable change and flow optimisation, focused on efficiency, scalability, and customer satisfaction • Formulate strategic and operational objectives and ensure adequate follow-up • Provide timely and accurate updates/information to relevant stakeholders Requirements • A Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration/Operations Management. • 2 to 4 years of proven work experience as Operations Manager or Project Manager. • Experience working in a large technology/automotive/ecommerce B2C company • Experience in multi-site branded operations and On-demand logistics is a plus • Understanding of continuous improvement techniques to drive change. • Strong understanding of Operations Management, Customer centricity, Project Management & Supply Chain. • Managerial and leadership skills with the ability to manage people. • Planning, organising, and delegating tasks and functions. • Ability to adapt, overcome and flourish in a fast-paced environment. • Strong team player who has worked cross-functionally before to coordinate and meet deadlines • High adaptability to change and the ability to execute quickly. Experience working in a large technology/automotive/ecommerce B2C company. Experience in multi-site branded operations and On-demand logistics is a plus.
