Procurement Engineer - HVAC

Job Purpose The Senior Procurement Specialist will manage the procure-to-pay process for FJ Group across MEP, HVAC, manufacturing, and industrial operations. The role focuses on commodity management, strategic sourcing, supplier management, negotiations, cost optimization, and ensuring timely delivery of quality goods and services to support FJ projects and factories. Key Responsibilities Sourcing Develop sourcing strategies aligned with project timelines and production requirements. Conduct sourcing of raw materials including copper, aluminum, steel, chemicals, plastic resins, and consumables. Conduct sourcing of Mechanical and electrical components, pipe, fittings, valves, hardware, insulation, and industrial components Manage RFQ process, supplier quotations, bid evaluations, negotiate of pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules, award, and purchase orders. Cost Control Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative sourcing options Monitor market trends for steel, copper, HVAC components, and industrial materials Vendor Management Source, qualify, and develop suppliers Build and maintain strong supplier relationships within local and international supply base. Conduct supplier performance evaluations and vendor audits Project & Factory Coordination Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Warehouse, and Project teams Ensure timely material availability for projects and factory operations Handle urgent procurement requirements and material shortages Compliance & Documentation Ensure procurement activities comply with company procedures and regulations Maintain procurement documentation, contracts, POs, and approvals Support internal and external audits Requirements Education Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Supply Chain / Equivalent Experience 3+ years of procurement experience in: Commodity Management and international sourcing MEP / HVAC / Manufacturing / Industrial sectors Skills Strong negotiation and communication skills Technical knowledge of MEP/HVAC / Metals ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Focus, Odoo, etc.) Advanced Excel and reporting capabilities Show more Show less
