Responsibilities Core Responsibilities • Manage all activities across maritime large-scale projects to enable successful delivery of project goals in a timely matter. • Provide guidance to define project’s scope of work; lead deliverables, plan schedule, monitor resources (personnel, equipment and materials) and oversee budget to meet maritime client’s requirements. • Control maritime large-scale project risks, provide advice to resolve issues and update mitigation plans to ensure project success. • Responsible to ensure maritime project compliance to group governance, external stakeholder, and cluster requirements. • Support in managing the interfaces and dependencies across maritime project, clusters, and external parties. • Promote HSE culture and activities in the construction activities across maritime large scale projects. • Monitor the progress and performance of large-scall projects, review metrics, analyze bottlenecks, and recommend action plans. • Prepare reports to the management for all maritime medium-scall project delivery such as the current activities, data analysis Liaise with maritime large scale project owners and review the assigned specifications, standards, and procedures to meet project requirements and achieve objectives. • Direct maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all large-scale projects. • People Management Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain a positive and collaborative culture between project teams, supply chain and other stakeholders for the betterment of the AD Ports group. • Strategic Responsibilities • Develop and maintain relationships with other projects, suppliers, consultants, and contractors. • Support the development and continuous improvement of departmental working practices. • Identify and support improvement initiatives. and forecasting study. Qualifications Educational and Technical Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (engineering, construction management, project management, etc.) Language Skills: • Excellent English. Arabic is an added advantage Years of Experience: • A minimum of 12-15 years of experience in a similar role Nature of Experience: • Proven experience in delivering construction projects in maritime environment. • Experience as a senior project manager or in a programme management position. • Working in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment. • Preferably have work in both construction and consultancy organisations. • Cultural sensitivity and adaptability. • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization. • Experience in project management including the ability to plan, execute and oversee projects from concept to implementation.
