Business Analyst - Trade Finance & SCF

Job Title: Business Analyst – Trade Finance & SCF Location: Abu Dhabi Experience: 7–15 Years Domain: Banking We are looking for a strong Business Analyst with experience in Core Banking, Trade Finance, Supply Chain Finance (SCF), and Islamic Banking products. The ideal candidate should have functional expertise in banking workflows, requirement gathering, stakeholder management, and Trade Finance product lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Core Banking and Trade/SCF systems. • Understand Trade Finance and SCF product workflows, lifecycle, and operational processes. • Work closely with business users, operations teams, and technology teams for requirement clarification and solution delivery. • Prepare BRD, FSD, user stories, process flow diagrams, and functional specifications. • Conduct gap analysis between current and target business processes. • Support implementation, configuration validation, SIT/UAT testing, and production rollout activities. • Coordinate with stakeholders for issue resolution, defect tracking, and change requests. • Validate accounting entries, posting rules, and transaction workflows for Trade/SCF products. • Ensure business processes align with banking compliance and operational standards. Mandatory Skills: • Strong understanding of Core Banking systems and Trade Finance processes. • Experience in Supply Chain Finance (SCF) and Trade Finance products. • Knowledge of Islamic Banking products such as Murabaha, Istisn’a, LME, and Wakala Ijara. • Experience in business analysis, requirement gathering, and functional documentation. • Hands-on experience in UAT/SIT coordination and stakeholder management. • Understanding of accounting and posting rules for Trade/SCF products. • Experience working with banking clients/projects is mandatory. Preferred Skills: • Experience with Finacle / Flexcube / T24 / Oracle Banking platforms. • UAE/GCC banking experience preferred. • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. • Agile/Scrum project exposure is an added advantage.
