About this Position The Commercial Operations Manager is responsible for leading proposal development, enabling effective project execution, and supporting commercial growth through strong operational discipline. This role manages the proposals team, ensures standardized and high-quality commercial outputs, coordinates technical service support for sales activities, and maintains data integrity within Salesforce. The position plays a critical role in improving efficiency, consistency, and scalability across the commercial organization What You´ll Do • Lead and develop the proposals team by setting priorities, managing performance, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality, competitive proposals aligned with business strategy, pricing guidelines, and risk management policies. • Oversee the end-to-end proposal development process while driving standardization, continuous improvement, and best practices across proposal tools, templates, and workflows. • Provide commercial oversight throughout project execution to ensure customer commitments are successfully delivered and facilitate seamless handovers between Sales, Operations, and Project Delivery teams. • Coordinate with Technical Service teams to ensure technical solutions, customer presentations, and proposal content align with commercial objectives and customer requirements. • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of Salesforce data, while driving CRM adoption and generating meaningful commercial insights through reporting and analytics. • Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and standardized commercial practices to enhance operational efficiency and proposal quality. • Coach, mentor, and develop team members by strengthening commercial, technical, and process capabilities while supporting succession planning and cross-functional collaboration. What makes you a good fit • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field. • Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial operations, sales operations, proposal management, project management, or related commercial functions. • Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams. • Strong knowledge of proposal development, pricing strategies, commercial risk management, and contract processes. • Experience using Salesforce or equivalent CRM platforms. • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Technical, Operations, and Project Management functions.
