Enterprise Resources Planning Project Manager

Role: ERP Project Manager Reporting line: Deputy CTO Sector: Government & Public Sector Location: Sharjah We are currently representing a Public Digital Department to recruit an ERP Project Manager to lead the implementation, rollout and continuous improvement of enterprise resource planning systems across government entities. This role is central to the entity, ensuring ERP programmes are delivered on time, within scope and aligned with the organisation transformation objectives. Key Responsibilities • Lead end to end ERP implementation projects across government departments, from planning through go live and post deployment support • Define project scope, governance frameworks, timelines and resource plans in coordination with stakeholders and vendors • Manage relationships with ERP vendors, system integrators and internal IT and business teams • Drive business process analysis, gap assessments and change management to ensure successful adoption • Monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating where required • Ensure solutions comply with government IT policies, cybersecurity standards and data governance requirements • Produce regular progress reports for senior leadership and steering committees • Support training, knowledge transfer and capability building across government entities Requirements • 8–12 years of experience in IT project management, with a minimum of 5 years leading ERP implementations • Hands-on experience with major ERP platforms (Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) • Prior experience in a government, public sector, or highly regulated environment strongly preferred • Strong understanding of business process re-engineering and change management • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification required; ITIL or ERP-specific certifications are an advantage • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus Show more Show less
