Civil Lab Engineer Location: Umm Al Quwain, United Arab Emirates Employment Type: Full-time, On-site The British Applied College invites applications for the position of Civil Lab Engineer. The successful candidate will support the effective delivery of laboratory and practical activities within the Civil Engineering program. The role requires a candidate with a strong general background in civil engineering laboratories. Key Responsibilities · Support faculty members in the preparation and delivery of laboratory and practical sessions. · Prepare laboratory materials, equipment, and experiment setups for scheduled classes. · Supervise students during laboratory activities in coordination with faculty members. · Ensure that laboratory activities are conducted safely and in accordance with established procedures. · Manage laboratory inventory, materials, supplies, and related records. · Support procurement requests for laboratory consumables and equipment needs. · Assist in maintaining an organized, safe, and effective laboratory environment. · Contribute to the continuous improvement of laboratory procedures and student practical learning experiences. Minimum Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field. · Strong knowledge of civil engineering laboratory practices across major civil engineering areas. · Ability to support practical instruction, student supervision, and laboratory operations.
