Construction Manager

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager with a strong civil engineering background and extensive UAE experience in hotel construction projects. The role is responsible for leading on-site construction activities, ensuring successful execution of high-quality hospitality developments delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with project specifications, authority regulations, and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record with reputable main contractors in the UAE and hands-on experience delivering 4-star and 5-star hotel projects from structural works through finishing, testing, commissioning, and handover. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage all site construction activities for project from mobilization to handover. • Oversee civil works execution including excavation, substructure, superstructure, and finishing works. • Coordinate closely with Project Manager, consultants, subcontractors, and client representatives. • Ensure adherence to project schedule, budget, quality standards, and contractual obligations. • Manage site teams including engineers, supervisors, foremen, and subcontractor workforce. • Monitor daily site progress and implement corrective actions to avoid delays. • Ensure strict compliance with QA/QC procedures and hotel brand quality standards. • Coordinate integration of civil, architectural, structural, and MEP works. • Manage site logistics, materials, and resource planning efficiently. • Lead coordination meetings with subcontractors and project stakeholders. • Ensure compliance with UAE authority regulations and HSE requirements. • Support procurement and technical evaluation of subcontractors and materials. • Oversee testing, commissioning support, snagging, and final handover activities. • Maintain strong coordination with consultants and client representatives to resolve site issues. • Drive productivity, cost efficiency, and construction sequencing optimization. Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Mandatory). • Minimum 15 years of experience in construction. • Proven UAE experience with reputable main contractors (Mandatory). • Strong hands-on experience in hotel construction projects (4-star / 5-star). • End-to-end experience in hotel project lifecycle (from excavation to handover). • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing, and finishing standards in hospitality projects. • Experience managing large site teams and subcontractors. • Solid understanding of UAE authority approvals, regulations, and compliance standards. • Proficient in project execution planning, site coordination, and progress control. • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
