Civil Engineer

Job Title: Civil Engineer Industry: Construction Location: Dubai Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Civil Engineer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and supervising construction projects while ensuring compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, project timelines, and budgets. The role requires strong technical expertise, site management skills, and the ability to coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams. Key Responsibilities • Supervise and manage day-to-day construction activities at project sites. • Review engineering drawings, specifications, and BOQs to ensure accurate execution. • Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed according to approved plans and schedules. • Coordinate with architects, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors for smooth project execution. • Ensure compliance with local building codes, quality standards, and safety regulations. • Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues during construction. • Prepare project reports, site progress reports, and documentation. • Monitor material usage and control project costs to minimize wastage. • Verify measurements, contractor bills, and work completion certificates. • Ensure timely procurement and availability of construction materials. • Identify project risks and implement corrective and preventive actions. • Participate in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation. • Support project handover activities and ensure successful project completion. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. • Professional certifications are an added advantage. Experience • 3–8 years of experience in civil construction, building construction, residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects. • Experience in handling complete project execution from foundation to handover is preferred. Technical Skills ;- • Proficiency in AutoCAD. • Knowledge of MS Project and Primavera (preferred). • Strong understanding of structural drawings and construction methodologies. • Experience with quantity surveying, estimation, BOQs, and billing. • Knowledge of quality control procedures and construction standards. • Familiarity with project scheduling and resource planning. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
