1.Company Overview 1)We are a fast-growing molecular diagnostics company headquartered in Shanghai, with international presence in the United States, Japan, and Singapore. Our company develops, manufactures, and commercializes innovative molecular diagnostic products for global healthcare markets. 2)As part of our global expansion, we are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager based in Dubai to lead business development, distributor partnerships, and commercial growth across the Middle East, with a focus on the GCC region. 2.Location 1)Dubai preferred. Abu Dhabi or Riyadh may also be considered for highly qualified candidates. 2)Frequent travel across the Middle East (including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain) and selected Middle East markets is expected. 3.Reporting Line:Head of Global Commercial / International Business Director 4.Key Responsibilities 1)Develop and execute the commercial and channel development strategy for the Middle East, with initial focus on the Middle East and GCC markets. 2)Identify, evaluate, and manage IVD and molecular diagnostics distributors across the region. 3)Assess distributor capabilities in registration, importation, tender access, hospital coverage, after-sales support, and financial reliability. 4)Build relationships with hospital groups, private healthcare networks, government laboratories, reference laboratories, KOLs, and procurement stakeholders. 5)Support market access and regulatory coordination for the Middle East, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and other priority countries. 6)Develop commercial plans including product positioning, pricing strategy, distributor structure, annual targets, and promotional activities. 7)Drive early product evaluations, reference customer development, pilot projects, and strategic account opportunities. 8)Monitor competitive activities from Roche, Abbott, Cepheid, Qiagen, Hologic, bioMérieux, Thermo Fisher, Siemens Healthineers, Beckman Coulter, and other diagnostic companies. 9)Manage sales pipeline, distributor forecast, tender opportunities, commercial risks, and project progress. 10)Represent the company at regional conferences, distributor meetings, hospital visits, and industry events. 11)Provide regular market reports, competitor updates, customer feedback, and commercial recommendations to headquarters. 5.Requirements 1)5–12 years of experience in IVD, molecular diagnostics, laboratory diagnostics, life science tools, medical devices, or related healthcare sectors. 2)Proven experience in business development, distributor management, channel sales, or regional commercial management in the Middle East. 3)Strong understanding of the Middle East and GCC healthcare systems, diagnostic channels, hospital procurement, and distributor networks. 4)Experience working with distributors, tenders, government accounts, hospital groups, or reference laboratories. 5)Existing network among IVD distributors, laboratories, healthcare groups, or diagnostic KOLs in the Middle East. 6)Strong English communication and negotiation skills. Arabic language skills are a plus. 7)Ability to work independently and manage cross-border business development activities. 8)Willingness to travel frequently across the GCC and selected Middle East markets. 6.Preferred Qualifications 1)Experience with molecular diagnostics, PCR, infectious disease testing, health diagnostics, respiratory testing, TB, oncology diagnostics, or syndromic testing. 2)Previous experience with Roche Diagnostics, Abbott Diagnostics, Siemens Healthineers, bioMérieux, Qiagen, Cepheid, Thermo Fisher, Hologic, Beckman Coulter, Sysmex, or strong regional distributors. 3)Experience launching new diagnostic products or helping Eastern IVD companies enter the Middle East market. 4)Familiarity with the Middle East, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar regulatory and tender pathways. 7.Compensation 1)Competitive base salary plus performance-based bonus. 2)Full-time employment preferred.
