Senior Management Accountant Abu Dhabi | Full-Time | Construction | Salary: AED 20,000 - 25,000 per month We are partnering with a leading construction group in Abu Dhabi to recruit an experienced Senior Management Accountant with a strong background in hotel management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly ambitious hotel group where you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial information, supporting commercial decision making and driving financial performance across the business. Key responsibilities: • Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts across multiple hotel entities. • Lead the month end close process, ensuring all financial reporting deadlines are achieved. • Produce detailed variance analysis, providing clear commentary on financial performance against budget and forecast. • Support the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting process, working closely with operational stakeholders. • Partner with hotel management teams to provide financial insight and support commercial decision making. • Monitor revenue, payroll and operating costs, identifying trends, risks and opportunities to improve profitability. • Review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure strong financial controls are maintained. • Support statutory audits and ensure financial information is accurate, complete and audit-ready. • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, financial controls and system efficiencies. • Mentor and support junior members of the finance team where required. Key experience: • Previous experience in a Senior Management Accountant, Management Accountant or similar finance role. • Essential: Previous finance experience within the hotel industry. • Strong experience preparing monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts within a multi entity environment. • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful commercial insights. • Strong understanding of financial controls, balance sheet reconciliations and month end close processes. • Fully or part-qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA (or qualified by experience with extensive experience). • Advanced Excel skills with experience analysing and presenting financial data. • Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Sun, NetSuite, Sage or similar. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships across finance and operational teams.
