Lead Civil and Structural Engineer We are seeking an experienced Lead Civil & Structural Engineer to provide technical leadership on large-scale Oil & Gas EPC projects. This role is critical in driving civil and structural engineering excellence across design, procurement, and construction phases, ensuring compliance with international standards, safety, quality, schedule, and budget requirements. You will work closely with Project Managers, multidisciplinary engineering teams, and key stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. YOUR ROLE As a Lead Civil and Structural Engineer you will: • Lead the design, analysis, and review of civil and structural works for Oil & Gas EPC projects • Review and approve drawings, calculations, material specifications, and engineering deliverables • Ensure compliance with international and local codes (ACI, BS, Eurocode, etc.) • Coordinate with process, piping, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation teams • Provide construction-phase technical support, site inspections, and issue resolution • Oversee foundation, steel structures, concrete works, and infrastructure elements • Support procurement activities, vendor reviews, and technical bid evaluations • Implement QA/QC procedures and contribute to continuous improvement • Enforce HSE standards, conduct risk assessments, and promote a strong safety culture • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of civil & structural engineers • Act as the main technical interface with clients, consultants, and contractors WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Experience • Minimum 15+ years of experience in Civil & Structural Engineering within Oil & Gas / EPC projects • Minimum 5 years in a lead or senior engineering role • Experience with onshore/offshore or plant projects is highly desirable Education / Training / Certifications • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree preferred) • Professional certification (PE, CEng, or equivalent) is an advantage Skills/Competencies • Strong hands-on knowledge of civil & structural design and construction practices • Proficiency in tools such as STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, BIM tools, Primavera WHAT WE OFFER • The chance to contribute to some of UAE’s Oil and Gas EPC Mega projects. • A collaborative, supportive environment that values innovation and excellence. • Opportunities for professional growth and career progression. • Competitive salary and benefits package.
