Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Project Manager role based in Dubai. The Project Manager will oversee interior design and turnkey projects from concept through completion, coordinating design teams, contractors, and suppliers to meet project scope, schedule, and budget. Responsibilities include planning project timelines, managing resources, monitoring construction progress, and ensuring adherence to detailed specifications and quality standards. The role involves tracking deliverables, resolving issues, conducting site inspections, and maintaining clear communication with clients and stakeholders. The Project Manager will also prepare reports, support cost control efforts, and contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes. Qualifications • Candidates should possess strong Project Management skills, including planning, coordination, and stakeholder communication. • Candidates should possess Expeditor and Expediting skills to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and services. • Candidates should possess Inspection skills to verify work quality, compliance with specifications, and adherence to safety standards. • Candidates should possess Logistics Management skills to manage schedules, supply chains, and site operations efficiently. • Relevant experience in interior design, construction, or fit-out projects, preferably within the UAE or GCC region. • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office; familiarity with design or CAD software is an advantage. • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience. • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic skills are a plus. Key Responsibilities: • Project Planning & Execution: Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company objectives. • Client Management: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing concerns, providing updates, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. • Team Coordination: Manage and coordinate designers, engineers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution. • Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure all work meets industry standards, project specifications, and Dubai regulations. • Budget & Cost Management: Monitor expenses, negotiate with suppliers, and implement cost-effective solutions to maximize profitability. • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring smooth project delivery. • Progress Monitoring & Reporting: Track project milestones, prepare progress reports, and present updates to senior management. • Site Supervision: Conduct regular site visits to oversee work progress, enforce safety protocols, and ensure adherence to project deadlines. - Managing the projects in consideration of quality, along with the achievement within the authorized costs and time delivery. - Identify the business objectives and requirements. - Facilitate meetings to kick-off the project with business units and obtain project requirements to prepare the Project Charter. - Develop a high-level project program to align the external and internal stakeholders, with the overall project lifecycle. - Manage, control, and communicate the details of changes to all the stakeholders and obtain approvals. - Update project plan based on the approved changes. - Build a relationship between internal and external stakeholders. - Arrange and initiate requirements prior civil defense final inspection. - Conduct site inspection and visits. - Attend meeting with landlord and representatives. - Conduct site survey along with design consultant and evaluate site condition. - Review consultants drawing submission from concept, detailed design up to final tender package. - Coordinate with external vendors to ensure a timely delivery of the project, considering the quality and workmanship. - Managing changes within the project. - Prepare report for each project and ensure that a weekly report are issued to business units. - Meeting financial requirements by working in collaboration with Procurement, Business unit & Service providers by forecasting requirements. - Review the BoQ during the Tender Design stage to ensure that all scope related to the project are considered. - Coordinate with QS (internal) for any variation submitted by vendor to ensure that the cost is within the approved rate and budget. - Practice Negotiation skills. - Assist QS during final and closing the project’s commercial contract. - Obtain sign-off on the layouts, proposed design and project changes from internal clients. - Conduct frequent site inspections to control the quality of workmanship and monitor progress. - Review shop drawings submitted by contractors - Perform quality check prior to project hand-over to business units. -
