Civil Estimation Engineer

We are a diversified Main Contractor seeking a qualified Civil Estimation Engineer to join our tendering and estimation team. Key Responsibilities: • Study tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs to understand project scope and support tender participation decisions. • Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, cost estimates, and clarification requests by identifying discrepancies, missing information, or ambiguities. • Issue RFQs, follow up with subcontractors and suppliers, review quotations, prepare comparison sheets, and support negotiation. • Coordinate with procurement, construction, and technical teams to capture material, manpower, logistics, authority, and execution requirements. • Identify value engineering opportunities and support Design & Build proposals where applicable. • Prepare estimate files using CCS Candy, including BOQ adjustments, bid profiling, and pricing analysis. • Prepare and finalize technical and commercial tender submissions, including addenda, clarifications, and post-tender requirements. Key Skills: • Strong communication and negotiation skills. • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in quantities, pricing, and tender documentation. • Ability to handle multiple tenders and deadlines. • Good English writing and presentation ability.
